Everything is beautiful in memory - mega_mega
Everything is beautiful in memory
So much for me dating like a guy. I can't sleep because one won't get out of my head. I called him after The Hills so probably around 11-ish and we didn't stop talking until about an hour ago. We started talking about nothing and it ended with us spilling just about everything. My favourite part of the conversation went something like this:

Him: Have you ever been in love?
Me: I don't think so. Have you?
Him: You don't think so?
Me: Well, no. I haven't been in love.
Him: How do you know?
Me: I'm just saying that because I assume that you'd know for sure if you're in love or not and I have never been sure about it.
Him: How would you know for sure?
Me: What's with the questions, Socrates?
Him: I just want to know what you think love is.
Me: No one knows what love is.
Him: You sure about that?
Me: Well what's your theory, Mr. Philosopher?
Him: Love is really scary when you think about it. It's far deeper than what our shallow society makes it out to be.
Me: So what is it, genius?
Him. It sounds simple but it really isn't. Love is when you're not afraid anymore.

No he didn't know I liked him, I never told him because it looked like some sort of rebound type thing, and, for the same reason, I wasn't sure if I actually liked him. And I didn't want to go and ruin the whole friends thing by saying anything, especially if it wasn't true.
Everyone said he did like me though. My dad and my brother said it sounded like he liked me because he kept phoning me at like nine o'clock until two am.
You never know these things!

Interesting. It would be mighty weird if they could see the correct images though, how would they know?!
I'm from England, so I have no idea about the whole war\Bush\Iraq thing, but I know what you mean.

Oh right.

Just re read your comment and I get it now, history will be more accurate, computers help the memory, as in, it'll be stored better, and not just some idiot taking notes on some parchment with a quill. Speaking of which, I would really like a quill...

What the hell!

That seems rather cruel! You should have just gotten a spoon and ate it all infront of them, I would have! Haha.

Yeah, exactly.

Christmas at this age, you have to start buying for other people and you never want anything anymore. Birthdays only make you feel worse because you're getting even older. And I don't even make the holidays last or make the most of them, because when we go back to school I just miss them more. I don't know how to think to just move on though, like people say just be happy and get over it or embrace the future, all this stuff, I don't know how to do that! It doesn't take over my life or anything, I don't dwell on the past, so much as I just don't want it to be the past!

I do like arguing with him sometimes because it's funny and we laugh about it later, but it's all the time now, so now it's gotten as boring as not fighting. It's a harsh world.

He's fifteen, but he acts every age but. Except like fourteen or sixteen, cause that would just be stupid.
